Components of the Kit

The battery maintainer kit comes with a 10W Mono-crystalline panel with pre-attached 3ft Anderson connector, one Alligator Clip Cable, one cigarette lighter adaptor, and 8 suction cups.

It uses solar power to trickle charge the battery. The 10W panel will keep a steady power inflow to counter the self-discharge made by the battery, while not large enough to cause overcharging of the battery. It is especially useful if the battery is going to sit without charging for a while.

The alligator clip allows you to connect the panel and the battery directly for charging. You could also choose to charge the car battery by using the cigarette lighter.
