Having renewable energy while camping can make life a whole lot easier. Whether you want something to power your portable grill or to charge your Phones or GoPro camera for the next day of adventures, we’ve got you covered. Gone are the days when you need to find a campsite with electrical hookups, because we’ll be talking about Camping Solar Setups and why they will be beneficial to you at your campsite in this blog. Solar setups for camping are great additions as they allow you to maximize your capabilities for the duration of your time off the grid. Here are some setups that will be cost-effective and make your trip enjoyable.
Portable power is an essential thing to have, as it’s an easy way to take energy wherever you go. Our new 700W portable solar generator is an excellent addition to any campsite, with many outputs allowing you to plug in small appliances such as small portable grills, toasters, and even portable fridges. It can also power your electronic devices such as your phones, iPads, computers, projectors, and even your campsite lighting. Another benefit of this portable solar generator is its built-in LED light for additional visibility at night. This setup is my go-to whenever I venture out into the woods because it’s simplistic, doesn’t take up too much storage space and I know I can depend on it for the duration of the trip.
Our 40W and 60W foldable solar panels are good choices or when you are camping as they have multiple applications. They come with multiple mounting points, alligator clips, pre-attached cable as well as various connectors to maximize their compatibility with all of our solar generators. In addition, they both can be compatible with the 700W portable solar generator mentioned above. These foldable panels are great for those of you who want to maintain a minimalistic camping lifestyle while off the grid.
Last but not least, we have our 200W portable solar kit. This solar kit can act as a battery maintainer with its built-in charge controller as well as a charging dock using its built-in USB port. So, let’s say you want to utilize your vehicle’s battery for your electric grill, power tools, etc. and you want to trickle charge your battery in the meantime, this kit has a built-in solar charge controller which allows you to complete such a task. It comes with a 20A LCD screen, battery clamps, and all necessary cables with adaptors. This solar kit takes up little room and it foldable allowing you to carry it with ease.
