I bought two of these panels to make a portable solar array. I wired the two panels in parallel to maintain the 12 Volt output. I hinged the panels together so that they fold with the cells out. This creates a "clam shell" cavity inside to hold the cables, charge controller and my stand rods. I use it when I am dry camping to keep my camper battery topped off. So far it is working very well.

This solar panel shipped and arrived quickly! Well-packed and no damage on arrival. We bought this for solar recharging of our NewPowa 300w Power Station - we have an off-grid cabin, and solar power is a great way to go for us! Attached is a picture of the panel out in the sun - the power station was tucked behind it, in the shade, but plugged in and recharging. Bright Colorado sun recharged the unit from about 30% to 100% in approximately 7 hours. The second picture shows the panel, power station - plugged in and charging, and a little portable washing machine that uses no more than 240w, so the power station works for it!UPDATE: On a bright sunny day, it takes 8-9 hours to charge the 300w power station from very low (10-20% battery). With the sky a little overcast, it takes 10-12 hours. To me, this is good! It keeps up with our power demands.
